Porpoises flexed its power by cruising to the team title in the 22nd Annual Sussex-Warren Invitational that was
contested on the campus of Sussex Tech in Sparta on Saturday. |
| Sussex-Wantage excelled in the boys events, accumulating 420.5 points to
202.5 by runnerup Newton as Alex Stuart keyed the rout by setting a new record of 19.72 seconds in winning the
8 & under boys 25 butterfly competition. |
| Lake Wallkill finished third overall while posting the top point total of
249 from the girls' events. Ryan Olsen garnered the Lake Wallkill spotlight by setting a new meet record of 25.24
seconds in the 15 to 18 boys 50 freestyle, giving him three meet records. |
| Vernon Valley Lake had a pair of record-setters as Jinan Andrews splashed
to new meet mark of 24.50 seconds in the 6 & under girls 25 freestyle while her brother Ayman broke the record
in the 9 & 10 boys backstroke when he touched the finish wall in 18.53 seconds. |
